Location: Grand Prairie, TX Job ID: #71604 Pay Range: $55-64 ph (W2) Duration: 12 mos

Seeking a highly motivated Systems Integration and Test (I&T) Engineer to provide support in building and testing HW in labs and field tests. The candidate will provide hands on hardware in the lab support.

Responsibilities

Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems.

Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints.

Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem.

Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems.

Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations.

Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance.

Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems.

Qualifications

Comfortable working outside for testing both at an on-site tether and testing at off-site flight tests

Vendor selection and procurement of test related hardware experience

Familiarity with mechanical design software (Windchill, Creo, Solidworks) to support quick-turn tooling for integration activities

Experience in procedure development and redlines (lead the review and approval process)

Ability to work in a team environment

Comfortable with travel for test events or for customer meetings

Active Secret Clearance

Required Experience

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a STEM-related field with 5 years of professional experience or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree

2-4 years Electrical Troubleshooting experience

2-4 years Testing Lab experience

2-4 years Electrical Testing experience

1-2 years Knowledge in CAD/CAE tools

2-4 years Writing Reports and Procedures

Desired skills

Background in electrical engineering or mechanical/aerospace engineering
