Overview
Systems Integration and Test (I&T) Engineer in Grand Prairie, TX to provide support in building and testing hardware in labs and field tests. The candidate will provide hands-on hardware-in-the-lab support. Responsibilities
Plans, implements, tests, documents, and maintains solutions for the integration and testing of in-house developed and COTS/GOTS components, elements, subsystems and/or systems. Synthesizes customer contractual needs and requirements into system test solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule and cost constraints. Establishes functional and technical specifications and standards, solves hardware/software interface problems, defines input/output parameters, and ensures integration of the entire system or subsystem. Reviews, evaluates and derives requirements for testability, develops and directs preparation and execution of comprehensive test plans, procedures and schedules for complete systems and/or subsystems. Coordinates subsystem and/or system testing activities with programs and other organizations. Performs analysis of test results and prepares comprehensive subsystem and/or system level evaluation reports which verify and validate system performance. Writes discrepancy reports and performs integration regression testing to verify/validate incorporated fixes to software, components, subsystems and systems. Qualifications
Comfortability working outside for testing both at an on-site tether and testing at off-site flight tests. Vendor selection and procurement of test related hardware experience. Familiarity with mechanical design software (Windchill, Creo, Solidworks) in order to support quick turn tooling for integration activities. Experience in procedure development and redlines (lead the review and approval process). Ability to work in a team environment. Comfortable with travel for test events or for customer meetings. Active Secret Clearance. Required Experience
Bachelor's degree from an accredited college in a STEM-related field with 5 years of professional experience or 3 years of professional experience with a related Master's degree. Candidate has 2-4 years Electrical Troubleshooting experience. Candidate has 2-4 years Testing Lab experience. Candidate has 2-4 years Electrical Testing experience. Candidate has 1-2 years Knowledge in CAD/CAE tools. Candidate has 2-4 years Writing Report and Procedures. Desired skills
Background in electrical engineering or mechanical/aerospace engineering.
