Overview
This position provides engineering support to the design, development, and testing of a power system for a rocket that is the cornerstone of an exciting space program in the new era of human exploration beyond Earth’s orbit. This position supports the development and integration of batteries and power distribution components, and responsibilities can include updating battery models, supporting power system testing, conducting power analyses, analyzing data, reviewing Interface Control Documents (ICDs), verifying requirements, coordinating with other rocket system teams and the NASA customer, writing reports, and resolving issues. The candidate will work with other Power engineers to develop the system and ensure the design meets requirements. Responsibilities (implied)

Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Experience with batteries and power distribution systems used to power rocket avionics Experience with the systems engineering and integration process, from requirements development through product deployment Active DoD secret clearance Location
