The Department of Radiology at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota is seeking a highly qualified postdoctoral Research Fellow for the CT Clinical Innovation Center, a worldwide leader in medical CT imaging. Using state-of-the-art clinical and pre-clinical CT systems, our team conducts pioneering investigations across a broad scope of CT-related topics. Core focus areas include photon-counting-detector (PCD) CT, artificial intelligence (AI), and other transformative technologies, with emphasis on translating innovations into clinical practice to improve patient care worldwide. The Research Fellow will primarily contribute to NIH funded projects related to virtual imaging trials for multi-energy CT and AI-based algorithm development. The role involves collaboration with a multidisciplinary team of radiologists, medical physicists, and AI scientists, and provides opportunities to explore various aspects of medical physics to prepare for a career in academia, industry, or clinical medical physics. Applicants for this position must hold a Ph.D. degree in Medical Physics, Computer Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or a related field. Ideal candidates will have a strong background in medical imaging physics, programming skills, and a track record of peer-reviewed research publications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English are essential. Qualifications

Must have a Ph.D., M.D., or equivalent doctoral degree in a field deemed relevant by the program. Compensation & Benefits

Compensation: $64,787.84 - $80,990.21 annually; education, experience and tenure may be considered along with internal equity when job offers are extended. Benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, Pre-Tax Savings (HSA/FSAs), Retirement plan, and eligibility for Benefits. Employment Details
