Engineering Opportunity As part of our California team, you will work on projects that bring innovative solutions to our municipal clients’ water challenges locally and worldwide. You will have the chance to design, develop, and start‑up Instrumentation & Control Systems for water, wastewater, and conveyance facilities. You will lead the development of Process & Instrumentation Drawings (P&IDs), control narratives, specifications, network drawings, panel drawings, and instrument selection. You will coordinate with other engineering disciplines for a cohesive design and mentor junior engineers.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited university or college
Able to obtain a PE within one year
Minimum of 20 years of experience
I&C Systems Integration design experience
Process & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) development
I/O list development
Instrumentation selection
Control panel layout and wiring
Detailed loop wiring diagrams
PLC equipment list development
Knowledge of DCS systems
Understanding of IT/OT best practices (NIST‑800, ISA/IEC 62443 OT)
Experience with industrial networks (Modbus, EthernetIP, HART, Foundation Fieldbus, etc.)
Ability to mentor, train, and delegate work to others domestically and abroad
Ability to work outside normal work hours at times to coordinate with global team members
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
