You’ll be part of our Instrumentation and Control Systems team dedicated to protecting the most valuable asset in the world, water, with projects from design through onsite startup. You’ll have access to the deepest technical resources in the industry, opportunities for international work, and Design-Build projects. Using your experience, you’ll lead the development of Process & Instrumentation Drawings (P&IDs), control narratives, specifications, network drawings, panel drawings, and instrument selection. You’ll coordinate with other engineering disciplines for a cohesive design and contribute to the development and growth of people (e.g., mentoring junior engineers) domestically and globally. You’ll develop control system software in Programmable Logic Controllers and Human Machine Interfaces and perform facility startups and commissioning activities. You will review construction submittals, conduct site evaluations, make recommendations for control system upgrades, and communicate with clients and management. Base pay range
$115,400.00/yr - $201,900.00/yr Responsibilities
Lead development of Process & Instrumentation Drawings (P&IDs), control narratives, specifications, network drawings, panel drawings, and instrument selection Coordinate with other engineering disciplines for a cohesive design Mentor junior engineers and contribute to the growth of the team domestically and globally Develop control system software in PLCs and HMI platforms Perform facility startups and commissioning activities Review construction submittals and conduct site evaluations Recommend control system upgrades and communicate with clients and management Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or related discipline from an accredited university or college Active Professional Engineer (P.E.) Minimum of 10 years of experience I&C Systems Integration design experience Process & Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) development I/O list development Instrumentation selection Control panel layout and wiring Detailed loop wiring diagrams PLC equipment list development Ability to mentor, train, and delegate work to others domestically and abroad Ability to work outside normal work hours to coordinate with global team members Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite Preferred

Some roles may be eligible for merit increases, performance discretionary bonuses, and stock. The base salary range for this position is $115,400.00 to $201,900.00.
