The System Integration Specialist delivers and deploys products at customer sites, engaging with customers to develop relationships, identify and document requirements, create deployment plans, and perform work within the project timeline. The role collaborates with sales, software, and project management teams, technically leads projects, and provides strategic insight. Key Responsibilities
Achieve onboarding goals set by the integration team within 90 days. Adhere to cybersecurity policies and government regulations. Coordinate and lead customer projects and meetings, ensuring effective communication. Lead implementation workshops with customer departments, including project stakeholders, IT, security, and engineering. Develop and execute implementation plans and track billable hours. Integrate, configure, and customize client products, remotely and onsite. Create system test plans and lead acceptance test activities. Analyze and resolve complex engineering problems, identify root causes, and document outcomes. Provide product training to customers and validate software releases prior to installation. Collaborate with software and sales teams to clarify requirements, tailor demonstrations, and support RFP bids. Travel independently for conferences and project activities as needed. Adapt documentation and activities to improve standardization and quality of project execution. Offer guidance and support to team members, foster productivity, innovation, and fairness. Work independently on tasks without direct supervision and provide regular updates to the project team and manager. Attend mandatory team standups and required project meetings. Required Skills and Qualifications
BSc in Engineering or equivalent. 5+ years of system engineering experience. Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows infrastructure, configuration, and administration (group policy, Active Directory, Windows Server, IIS, SQL Server). Strong scripting knowledge (PowerShell, JavaScript, Lua, or equivalent). Strong networking design and administration knowledge. Experience with network troubleshooting tools (Wireshark, Fiddler, Postman). Project management knowledge. Ability to travel for domestic and international projects; reside in North America. Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Prior experience in the electric utilities industry. Experience in software development. Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE) or equivalent certification. Experience in SCADA communications (DNP3, IEC 61850, Modbus). Experience with SCADA devices (protective relays, communication processors, terminal services). Knowledge of substation and distribution communication architectures. Pay and Benefits
