Roles and Responsibilities
Lead cross‑functional teams on fast‑paced projects involving moderate risks and resource requirements, explaining complex or sensitive information and fostering consensus among stakeholders.
Demonstrate strong project management skills to scope and execute drawing modernization initiatives in collaboration with design engineering, product definition, and strategic sourcing teams, reporting status and escalating risks to cross‑functional management.
Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles, adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements, including mechanical engineering for hardware germane to turbomachinery.
Use judgment to make decisions or solve moderately complex tasks or problems in areas of operational/product management, manufacturing, technology or engineering.
Lead, mentor, and motivate a small team to achieve set goals and objectives, fostering a collaborative high‑performance team environment.
Organize and execute daily management to conduct regular team meetings to review progress, address challenges, and align on priorities.
Use technical experience and expertise for data analysis to support recommendations, drawing on multiple internal and limited external sources to arrive at decisions.
Serve as the primary point of contact between the team and senior leadership, preparing and presenting regular updates, reports, and performance metrics to senior management, ensuring clear and transparent communication of project status, risks, and opportunities.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or advanced degree in engineering from an accredited university or college.
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in design engineering with project management responsibilities.
Legal authorization to work in the U.S. is required. Visa sponsorship will not be provided.
Desired Characteristics
Advanced degree in Mechanical or Aerospace engineering from an accredited university or college.
Strong oral and written communication skills, including demonstrated experience delivering high‑level presentations to executive leadership.
Established project management skills (e.g., MS Project, MIRO).
Leading without authority, guiding dynamic team.
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills.
Ability to document, plan, strategize, and execute programs using Flight Deck.
Demonstrated ability to analyze and solve technical design challenges with sound documentation, planning, and program management skills.
Experience with finite element analysis software such as ANSYS, 3D modeling software such as NX Unigraphics, and use of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing (GD&T).
Experience with structural component design.
Benefits Base pay range for this position is $139,700.00 – $186,400.00. The specific pay may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set. This position is eligible for an annual discretionary bonus based on a percentage of your base salary and the plan. The posting is expected to close on November 4, 2025.
