Join Jacobs as a Lead Process Equipment Engineer (Hybrid) in Cincinnati, OH, working on Life Science projects including Drug Substance, Drug Product, Fill/Finish, Single Use, Fermentation, and similar biopharma facilities. The role involves being accountable for budget, schedule, and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks related to equipment design and purchase. As a Lead, you will lead a team of equipment engineers in specifying, bidding, purchasing, and managing the design and delivery of process equipment for clients. Responsibilities:
Lead a team of equipment engineers Specify, bid, purchase, and manage the design and delivery of process equipment Utilize technical expertise to mentor junior team members Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering At least 10+ years of experience working on Life Science / Manufacturing projects Demonstrated ability to lead a small team of engineers Working knowledge of main types of process equipment Familiarity with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code and ASME piping code (B31.3) Familiarity with ASME BPE (Bioprocessing Equipment) Ideally, you’ll also have:
Strong communication skills Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas Displayed ability to learn quickly and driven to broaden knowledge base Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams Jacobs offers a range of benefits, including medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance, a 401(k) plan, and the ability to purchase company stock at a discount. The base salary range for this position is $100,300.00 to $175,000.00.
