Overview We are looking for a Lead Process Equipment Engineer (Hybrid) in Cincinnati, OH who is excited about working on projects that enable the heart of our clients’ business. You will work on Life Science projects including Drug Substance, Drug Product, Fill/Finish, Single Use, Fermentation, and similar biopharma facilities. You will be accountable for budget, schedule and technical quality of challenging engineering tasks related to equipment design and purchase, as you gain familiarity with the client’s expectations. As the lead engineer of a highly interactive team, you will establish process equipment needs on small to large-scale Biopharmaceutical and Biotech projects.

Responsibilities • Lead a team of equipment engineers in specifying, bidding, purchasing, and managing the design and delivery of process equipment for our clients. • Potentially conduct vendor inspections and witness Equipment Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs). • Mentor junior team members to help the team develop and grow. • Manage budget, schedule, and technical quality for assigned tasks. • Collaborate with multi-disciplinary teams to support project goals.

Qualifications • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

• At least 10+ years of experience on Life Science / Manufacturing projects.

• Demonstrated ability to lead a small team of engineers.

• Working knowledge of main types of process equipment (e.g., pressure vessels, pumps, heat exchangers, centrifuges).

• Familiarity with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code and ASME piping code (B31.3).

• Familiarity with ASME BPE (Bioprocessing Equipment).

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

Forward thinking, eager to learn best practices, and contribute with innovative ideas.

Displayed ability to learn quickly and drive to broaden knowledge base.

Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a variety of teams, including multi-disciplinary teams.

The base salary range for this position is $100,300.00 to $175,000.00. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
