Job Title: Nuclear Medicine Technologist – Day Shift (5x8) Location: Arlington, VA Duration: 13 weeks Pay: $70.00/hr - $74.00/hr Call: One night per week, one weekend per month (Call hours: 17:30–06:30 Mon–Fri, 24 hrs Sat–Sun) This role is a position within Pride Health, Pride Global's healthcare staffing branch. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more. Responsibilities
Prepare and administer radioactive isotopes following safety protocols. Calculate and measure appropriate doses for radiologists. Conduct a variety of nuclear medicine procedures including SPECT, myocardial perfusion, thyroid, and renal studies. Perform IV starts, phlebotomy, EKGs, and utilize PACS for image review. Maintain compliance with radiation safety standards and store/handle radioactive materials appropriately. Participate in on-call rotation as required. Requirements
Licensure: Active VA license required or proof of application for VA license. Experience: Minimum 2 years of independent Nuclear Medicine Technologist experience; seasoned travelers preferred. Certifications: NMTCB required; ARRT preferred, BLS required. Skills: Cardiac, bone, brain, lung, renal, thyroid studies, SPECT, myocardial perfusion, PET scan, pharmacological stress testing, IV starts, patient care across all age groups. Epic Experience: Radiology CT online class completion required. Additional Requirements: Ability to work holidays as scheduled; smoke/nicotine-free workplace. Preferred Qualifications
