Overview

Laboratory Supervisor - Anatomy Pathology Support at ECU Health. The Laboratory Supervisor of AP Support is responsible for designing, implementing and operating information systems for the entry, reporting and archival of Surgical Pathology, Cytology, Electron Microscopy and the hospital autopsy service. This includes transcription, coding and billing procedures. Supervises transcriptionists and medical laboratory assistants. Supervises and maintains anatomic pathology medical records and supports the medical staff to include residents in all aspects of Pathology. Minimum Requirements

Associate Degree in Medical Office Administration required A minimum of 4 years of Transcription experience required Excellent medical terminology knowledge and experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, and Adobe are required Preferred

Experience in Anatomic Pathology Experience with Pathology Billing and Coding Previous supervisory, training, teaching experience Other Information

40 hours per week Monday - Friday (8 am - 4:30 pm) Great Benefits General Statement
