Position Summary
The Supervisor of Cytology EMC Laboratory will supervise daily activities and personnel in the cytology laboratory. You will be required to monitor current accreditation standards to ensure department compliance with all regulatory agencies (CAP, JCAHO, CLIA, and CLSI). Manages routine technical problems and maintains and orders supplies. Maintains up-to-date procedure manuals and aids in the development of new procedures and processes. Recommends personnel for hiring and/or termination and assists with evaluations. Performs routine bench work and cytological examinations as needed. Assists with operational and capital budget preparations. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Requirements
Bachelors degree from an accredited (regionally or nationally) college/university CT (ASCP) certification 4 years of current, related clinical laboratory experience is required Other Information
