Physician Assistant (PA)
Location: Wilmington, NC
Telos Health Systems is looking for an experienced Physician Assistant to provide care for the geriatric population in a Skilled Nursing or Assisted Living setting.
What You Will Do
Act as the Skilled Nursing Facility’s leading provider of internal medicine services and collaborate with the interdisciplinary team.
Provide comprehensive health assessments, differential diagnosis, and prescribe treatments under the protocol.
Perform comprehensive physical examinations and develop and implement patient management policies and procedures.
Facilitate referrals to other healthcare professionals and maintain accurate documentation and CPT coding.
Monthly stability visits for long‑term residents and evaluate patients with changes in condition.
What You Will Need
PA credentials with an applicable state license and active DEA number.
Minimum one‑year experience in a Skilled Nursing setting (preferred).
Master’s Degree required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong leadership experience with emphasis on teamwork in a healthcare setting.
W2 Pay per encounter; fee for service role; coverage area Wilmington, NC.
Schedule: 2 days per week, prefer non‑consecutive days.
Compensation W2 Pay per encounter; fee for service role needed.
