Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator

Under the direct supervision of the Clinical Research Supervisor, the Assistant Clinical Research Coordinator (ACRC) supports the Cancer Center’s clinical research efforts by providing comprehensive coordination and data management for low‑to‑medium complexity cancer protocols. The role involves study management, data coordination, and quality assurance in accordance with Good Clinical Practices (GCP), university standard operating procedures, and federal regulations. Key Responsibilities

Clinical trial study management (approx. 40%) Data coordination, entry, and verification (approx. 40%) Quality assurance and compliance monitoring (approx. 15%) Other duties as assigned (approx. 5%) Minimum Qualifications

Minimum of 1‑year relevant experience in clinical research coordination. Knowledge of disease processes, basic anatomy, medical terminology, and the ability to interpret physicians’ notes, laboratory, and imaging reports. Familiarity with FDA, Office for Human Research Protections (OHRP), and other regulatory requirements. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, Access) and tracking/record‑keeping systems. Strong analytical, organizational, and attention‑to‑detail skills with the ability to manage large volumes of records. Effective written communication skills and the ability to prepare reports and correspondence. Ability to work occasional overtime and travel on occasion. High school diploma or GED equivalent, or equivalent experience and demonstrated skills. Minimum 2 years of experience coordinating clinical trials. Bachelor’s degree in a related field (preferred). Preferred certifications: Society of Clinical Research Associates (SoCRA) or Association of Clinical Research Professionals (ACRP). Preferred Qualifications

Previous oncology‑related clinical research experience. Certification by SoCRA or ACRP (preferred). Salary and Position Details
