W3Global . About The Job Client is seeking a caring veterinarian with a shared mission of keeping pets happy and healthy in their homes. A typical day for our valued vets includes alternating days between surgery and wellness clinics (or exclusively one if preferred). Responsibilities include routine wellness visits, sick animal exams, work-ins as time permits, spay/neuter procedures, and soft tissue surgery. Our clinic and staff are open to developing new programs to match your interests—such as acupuncture, physical therapy, skin care, exotics, or advanced diagnostics. For the past 22 years, we've operated out of an historic building in downtown Roanoke, which has contributed to our character. We are now moving into a large, new facility nearby. Our amenities include ezyVet software, an IDEXX lab station, digital radiographs, ultrasound, a dental station with x-ray, and a new CT machine. The clinic also features a doctor lounge and a free cafeteria. Requirements Experience in general veterinary medicine and surgery Ability to perform soft tissue and spay/neuter surgeries Experience in community outreach is a plus Ability to maintain accurate medical records Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) degree and licensure in Virginia Salary is dependent on experience but will not be less than $130,000 per year, with a review in three months.
