A part-time Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) is needed to support an elementary school caseload in San Marcos, TX. This role involves providing speech therapy services for a pediatric student population in a school setting. The position spans the school year (NSY) with an average commitment of 20 hours per week.

Responsibilities include managing a caseload of approximately 25-30 elementary students, collaborating closely with a full-time Speech-Language Pathology Assistant (SLPA) and another part-time SLP to share the workload. The SLP will also act as an ARD facilitator on campus, coordinating meetings and services for students under the Individuals with Disabilities Education Act (IDEA). This role involves individual and group therapy, progress monitoring, and coordination with teachers and school staff to support student communication goals.

Qualifications And Desired Experience

Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology required Experience in pediatric speech therapy, preferably within a school healthcare environment Familiarity with pediatric caseloads and elementary-aged students Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills Experience with ARD facilitation and IEP processes is essential
