Travel Registered Nurse – Inpatient Rehabilitation Night Shift (Greensboro, NC)

Position Type: Travel Registered Nurse (Travel Contract) Location: Greensboro, NC 27401 (North Carolina healthcare jobs) Facility Setting: Inpatient Rehabilitation Unit Shift: Night shift, 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Weekly Hours: 36 Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 9/30/2025 – End: 12/30/2025) Estimated Weekly Pay: $1680-$1730 Patient Ratio: 1:6 Floating: Required between all Cone Health campuses as needed Weekend/Holiday Coverage: Every 3rd weekend, holidays as needed Registered Nurse Qualifications
Minimum 1 year of recent acute care rehabilitation nursing experience (no first-time travelers) Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact state BLS certification (American Heart Association preferred) Experience with EPIC charting system required Previous travel RN experience required Ability to pass a mandatory EKG exam during compliance (2 attempts allowed) Compliance file completion by 12 noon EST the Wednesday prior to start date COVID-19 and Flu vaccinations required (medical/religious exemptions accepted) Education verification through a third party required Applicants must live outside a 50-mile radius (no local candidates) Registered Nurse Responsibilities
Provide specialized nursing care to adult and geriatric patients with rehabilitation needs, including CVA, TBI, ABI, spinal cord injury, neurological diagnoses, and generalized debility Interpret laboratory results, perform medication reconciliation, and complete patient health questionnaires Monitor vital signs, perform dressing changes, and set up aseptic/sterile procedure trays Collect and label specimens (capillary, throat, urine, phlebotomy) Provide telephone triage and manage pharmacy calls and patient refill requests Utilize assistive devices, feeding tubes, and adaptive equipment as needed Perform Foley catheter insertion/removal, NG tube insertion, and tracheostomy care/suctioning Administer blood products, anti-seizure, anticoagulant, and diabetic medications Assess and manage pain, pressure ulcers, fall risks, and provide patient education Float to other inpatient units or campuses as required Take the next step in your nursing career with this rewarding travel RN job in North Carolina.
