Responsibilities

The Interventional Radiology Tech provides quality patient care to all patients within the medical imaging department and performs high quality images and exams on patients while maintaining sensitivity to patient needs. This role follows standards of safe radiation practice, demonstrates leadership abilities, and acts as a clinical resource to unit personnel, ensuring current standards of practice for the unit. Additional compensation:

$4.75/hr IR differential given upon hire. On-call:

Additional on-call required. Prefer candidates within 30 minutes of facility for on-call.

Qualifications

In addition to bringing your whole self to the workplace each day, qualified candidates will need the following: One year imaging experience strongly preferred HS/GED required Associates degree strongly preferred Registered Technologist, Radiology, Vascular-Interventional Radiology, or Cardiovascular-Interventional Radiology - R.T. (R)(VI)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(CV)(ARRT) required Colorado Surgical Assistant License upon hire unless performing Surgical Assistant duties within the scope of another active Colorado license, certification, or registration (required for Colorado employed staff only) Basic Life Support through American Heart Association required ACLS through American Heart Association preferred

Location & Work Environment

Physical Requirements: Medium Work - Exert up to 50 lbs occasionally, up to 20 lbs frequently, and up to 10 lbs constantly. Location: Lakewood, Colorado, St. Anthony Hospital, a Level I Trauma Center offering trauma, cardiology, stroke, and more; home base for Flight For Life Colorado. The hospital values include Magnet designation and various accreditations.

Pay Range:

$34.40-$52.06 per hour Benefits:
