Prepare and validate the patient screening safety form. Educate patients regarding MRI procedures while ensuring patients’ comfort and safety during and after the exam. Maintain equipment and report any malfunctions immediately. Collaborate with department leadership to develop and implement methods to achieve established goals and objectives for the department. Maintain a safe, clean, and economical operation. Coordinate and answer questions regarding scheduling, networking, informatics, and patient information. Complete and ensure that all electronic data is sent to its appropriate destination. Inspect equipment to ensure proper orientation and contact service if necessary. Provide copies of imaging studies in a timely manner. Perform routine imaging, emergent, invasive, and all special procedures according to the policy/protocol manual and written orders. Maintain adequate supplies in the work area with items necessary to perform the daily schedule. Orient new personnel and assist in their transition to the work environment as assigned. Aid other associates in the department upon completion of duties or as assigned by a supervisor. Minimum qualifications

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or an accredited institution per the primary pathway of the ARRT American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Registration Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification through the American Heart Association (AHA) Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) Technologist through the ARRT within one year of hire Knowledge of Federal and State regulatory Preferred qualifications

Two years of experience as an Imaging Technologist in an acute care imaging setting Physical requirements

Mental Demands: Ability to work at a fast pace and to prioritize multiple assignments/projects and respond to numerous requests; ability to ensure operational efficiency; problem solve and make decisions; manage stress in a healthcare team environment. Special Demands: Self-starting and self-motivating; working hours may exceed eight hours per day as needed to accomplish work. Requires sitting at a workstation or desk; standing; occasional pushing/pulling, lifting, and carrying objects weighing up to 100 lbs. Finger dexterity and eye-hand coordination to operate a computer keyboard. Personal Protective Equipment
