Education: Graduate from an accredited program in ultrasonic technology/sonography Experience: Minimum requirements of two years as a sonographer. Knowledge of current theories and practices in sonography and their application to patient care. Licenses/Certification: Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS). Maintenance of CPR/BLS. Responsibilities
Establish continuous quality improvement standards in the department. Perform thorough patient evaluation using RDMS and ACR standards appropriate Communicate with patients, families and physicians and demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills. Assist in the orientation and training of new clinical staff to familiarize them with administration of modalities and equipment. Compensation: $37.25 - $50.00/hr, depending on experience. Current GVH employees transferring departments are not eligible for the Sign N Stay Bonus Physical Requirements
Occasionally (0-33%) - Change position, reach, reach across midline, pinching, crouching/squatting, stooping, crawling, kneeling, stairs, lifting/lowering (0-50 lbs), carrying (20-50 lbs) pushing/pulling (20-50 lbs) Frequently (34 – 66%) - Standing, walking, sitting, handling Continuously (37 -100%) See with corrective eyewear, hear clearly with assistance There is no deadline to apply for this position; we are accepting applications on an ongoing basis until a finalist is selected. Full Time staff are automatically enrolled in 401A plan as of date of hire. Life and AD&D insurance: All active employees working 40 or more hours per pay period are eligible for benefits on the first of the month after hire date.
