Key Responsibilities
Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders in students. Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on student needs. Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other educational professionals to support student progress. Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student assessments and therapy sessions. Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional recommendations. Monitor student progress and adjust therapy strategies accordingly.
Qualifications
Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC) required. Valid Pennsylvania School Speech-Language Pathologist certification. Experience working within K-12 educational environments preferred. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective collaboration. Ability to adapt therapy techniques to meet diverse student needs.
