Pediatric Radiologist - Neuroradiologist

Opportunity available for a Pediatric Neuroradiologist at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center, ranked the Best Hospital in Dallas-Fort Worth, and Children’s Health, ranked in all 10 pediatric subspecialties by U.S. News & World Report. The candidate must have a Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) degree or foreign equivalent, have completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship in pediatric radiology or neuroradiology and have additional training or experience in pediatric neuroradiology. The applicant must be American Board of Radiology (ABR) certified/eligible. Eligibility for full Texas medical license and its acquisition prior to start of employment is required. Appointment rank will be commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. The Pediatric Radiology Division currently includes 22 faculty members (including 6 pediatric neuroradiologists) and sponsors an ACGME-accredited fellowship program in Pediatric Radiology, and Texas Medical Board-approved fellowship programs in Pediatric Interventional Radiology and in Pediatric Neuroradiology. Clinical service is provided to Children’s Medical Center Dallas (490-bed tertiary pediatric hospital and Level 1 trauma center), Children’s Medical Center Plano (72-bed community hospital), and multiple outpatient imaging centers. Our Plano campus is set to expand to 210 beds in 2024. The division supports a strong program in pediatric epilepsy, neurology, otolaryngology, neuro-oncology and neurosurgery, with daily rounds and multidisciplinary conferences. Responsibilities

Interpret the full range of pediatric neuroradiology examinations (exclusive of interventional procedures). Provide consultation to referring physicians. Participate in teaching medical students, radiology residents and fellows in didactic lectures and group settings; participate in related multidisciplinary conferences. Collaborate on research interests with opportunities to develop projects with the basic science group and other departments. Engage in clinical activities across Children’s Medical Center Dallas, Children’s Medical Center Plano and affiliated imaging centers. Qualifications

Completed an ACGME-accredited fellowship in pediatric radiology or neuroradiology, with additional training or experience in pediatric neuroradiology.
