Four years of experience in epidemiology, healthcare analytics and reporting, health equity, nursing or public health; OR
A bachelor’s degree in public health, epidemiology, biological sciences, behavioral sciences, health sciences or nursing plus one year of experience in epidemiology; OR

Job Duties Design and conduct epidemiological investigations into outbreaks, health trends, and chronic or infectious diseases within the community.
Analyze public health data from multiple sources (e.g., surveillance systems, lab reports, surveys) to identify patterns and health threats.
Develop and maintain surveillance systems to monitor disease activity and respond to emerging health issues.
Interpret and communicate findings through written reports, visual dashboards, and presentations for public health officials, stakeholders, and the public.
Collaborate with healthcare providers, community organizations, and governmental agencies to share data, improve reporting, and coordinate interventions.
Provide scientific and technical expertise in the development of public health policies, health alerts, and educational campaigns.
Support emergency preparedness and response efforts by contributing epidemiological expertise during public health crises or disasters.
Stay up-to-date on emerging trends and best practices in epidemiology, public health, and disease prevention through ongoing training and professional development.
