Moffitt Cancer Center The Moffitt Cancer Center is seeking a GI Pathologist to join its growing GI pathology service in the Department of Pathology. The candidate will participate in routine sign out activities of the GI Pathology Service. In addition to a division specific focus, the position will include some responsibility in general frozen section pathology and the position may, depending on the candidate’s experience, include some responsibilities on other subspecialties. The candidate will have excellent opportunities for translational research and an established focus is highly desirable. Opportunities also exist for personal direct expert consult compensation. Responsibilities
Participate in routine sign out activities of the GI Pathology Service. Assume division-specific focus with potential responsibilities in general frozen section pathology. May include responsibilities in other subspecialties depending on experience. Engage in translational research opportunities; an established research focus is highly desirable. Opportunity for personal direct expert consult compensation. Qualifications
Board certified in Anatomic Pathology or board certification eligibility. Experience in an academic multi-disciplinary university clinical setting is preferred. An established track record of academic pursuit is highly desirable. Licensure or eligibility for licensure in the State of Florida is required. Candidates must have completed a GI Pathology fellowship or have at least three years of experience in the subspecialty. Compensation & Benefits
Comprehensive total compensation and benefits package. Highly competitive base salary with annual increases (typical 3-5%). Annual incentive bonus payment. Relocation funds available.
