Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant
Froedtert Health is recruiting a full‑time Family Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for its Froedtert Westbrook Health Center in Waukesha, WI.
Our health system includes 10 hospitals, nearly 2,000 physicians and over 45 health centers and clinics that provide a dynamic environment for medical professionals. At Froedtert, you’ll have access to advanced technology, ongoing education, and the support needed to deliver excellent patient care.
Responsibilities Provide comprehensive primary care to patients in a collegial, collaborative practice setting. Work closely with physicians, nurses, and other staff to deliver evidence‑based, patient‑centered care.
Qualifications For Nurse Practitioners
A master’s degree in nursing from an accredited program.
Graduate of an accredited Advanced Practice Nurse Practitioner program.
Current state of Wisconsin Registered Nurse License or a multi‑state Nursing License under the Nurse Licensure Compact.
Certification as an Advanced Practice Nurse Prescriber (APNP) by the Wisconsin State Board of Nursing.
Certification by the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC) or American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP).
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) or an AHA‑approved equivalent upon hire.
Medicaid and Medicare (PECOS) enrollment and DEA registration required or eligibility to obtain.
For Physician Assistants
Bachelor’s degree in physician assistant studies.
Current state certification as a PA and current DEA registration.
American Heart Association (AHA) Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers (BLS) or an AHA‑approved equivalent upon hire.
Medicaid and Medicare (PECOS) enrollment and DEA registration required or eligibility to obtain.
