This is a part-time (0.2) position working every other Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, supporting our Brooklyn Park, Blaine, and Plymouth locations.

Twin Cities Orthopedics is an operating division of Infinite Health Collaborative (i-Health), a group of local medical practices, owned and led by its physicians, on a mission to give patients more control over their healthcare.

Essential Functions

Perform MRI procedures in close proximity to super conducting magnet on designated portions of the body for physicians’ use in diagnosing and treating illness or injury Inform and prepare patients for procedures including researching implanted devices Maintain patient files, including internal and external films Prepare, clean and stock work area with supplies Coordinates equipment maintenance and repair Maintains the necessary precautions for excessive radiofrequency exposure May include IV contrast administration as needed Any and all other duties as assigned

Education And Experience Requirements

Graduate of an ARRT or ARMRIT approved program ARRT Certification Magnetic Resonance, ARMRIT Certified, or a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in an MRI department required.

Actual starting pay will vary based on education, skills, and experience. A $4,000.00 sign-on bonus will be offered, payable on first paycheck with a 12-month commitment. Internal applicants are not eligible for the sign-on bonus. Essential Requirements

Ability to:

Work in a high magnetic field up to 1.5 Tesla. Comply with company policies, procedures, practices and business ethics guidelines. Complete job required training. Comply with all applicable laws and regulations, (e.g. HIPAA, Stark, OSHA, employment laws, etc.) Demonstrate prompt and reliable attendance Work in the clinic during business hours Travel independently throughout the clinic (which may include movement from floor to floor); frequent bending, lifting, stooping or sitting for long periods of time may be required Work at an efficient and productive pace, handle interruptions appropriately and meet deadlines Communicate and interact in a respectful and professional manner Prioritize workload while being flexible to meet the expectations of the daily operations Apply principles of logical thinking to define problems, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions Understand and execute a variety of instructions Effectively operate equipment and communicate on and operate the phone system Work independently with minimal supervision Travel to other work locations, if required

Physical Requirements

Ability to work independently at least 90% of the time. Frequent lift up to 35 lbs., occasional lift up to 50 lbs. Push/pull occasionally up to 50 lbs. or persons in wheelchairs weighing up to 300 lbs. Frequent patient positioning including bending, stooping, squatting, twisting, & reaching.
