Stormwater Engineer, Sr. /Stormwater Engineer (Full Time Underfill opportunity)

Responsibilities
The Senior Stormwater Engineer classification primarily performs professional engineering review of private development and City infrastructure projects for stormwater related issues. The position also participates in management of drainage and flood control studies, manages the City’s floodplains, and provides technical assistance to other city departments. Minimum Qualifications – Underfill
Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field from an accredited educational institution, or equivalent years of education and experience. Four years of progressively responsible project coordination experience in storm water, drainage, and hydraulics/hydrology. Any equivalent combination of education and/or job related experience that meets the minimum qualifications may be substituted. Licensing, Certifications and Other Requirements – Underfill
Registration as a Professional Engineer with the Arizona State Board of Technical Registration, or by the technical board of another state with the ability to obtain Arizona Registration through reciprocity within 6 months of employment. A Certified Floodplain Manager credential from the Association of Floodplain Managers is required within 18 months of hire. Every person employed by the City of Scottsdale shall reside in the State of Arizona during his or her active employment by the City, regardless of whether the employee is approved to remote work.
