Overview
Cosentino is seeking a Sales Manager located in Memphis, TN to join a multinational environment with growth opportunities. This role focuses on developing, managing, and growing Cosentino's commercial and Builder sales division for interior and exterior applications.
What you will do
Develop and execute strategies to achieve long- and short-term sales plans for stone surfacing products within the territory.
Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients in remodeling, home improvement, cabinet makers, builders, and fabrication segments.
Serve as the main contact for customers, helping them reach their goals and maintaining positive, profitable relationships for both sides.
Identify, pursue, and increase sales and brand loyalty by calling on architects, designers, fabricators, builders, developers, and related contractors; coordinate with Cosentino Sales Team.
Customer Service
Ensure customers have marketing materials to support sales (samples, brochures, and collateral such as display towers).
Manage customer relationships by resolving concerns, setting up customers in CRM, providing price quotes, and scheduling weekly visits.
Increase market share by expanding displays and point-of-purchase materials within the territory.
Account Management
Manage account reports, sales budget, and stay within assigned sales and expense budgets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
Assist with regional corporate account rollout programs; travel outside the geography may be required with advance notice.
Coordinate and promote Cosentino surfacing products with universities and associations and develop relationships with leaders and students in the design industry.
Business Development
Represent Cosentino in the commercial construction and building industry by engaging with local chapters (ASID, IIDA, AIA, HBA) and other targeted associations.
Develop and grow relationships with builders, architects, designers, fabricators, general contractors, developers, and property managers through appointments and meetings.
Drive sales development of Cosentino surfacing products across interior and exterior applications in the core geography, pursuing opportunities aligned with organizational growth.
Maintain knowledge of Cosentino surfacing products, application and specification requirements, and fabrication/installation processes for customer satisfaction.
Collaborate with General Manager and Sales Team to execute business strategy for all customer segments in the area.
Evaluate, negotiate, and close contracts for materials, installation, and services; support sales positioning in model homes, design centers, and showrooms.
What you need to succeed Professional Experience
Required: 4+ years of sales or field merchandising experience; 2+ years of commercial and builder sales experience
Desirable: Stone fabrication or distribution experience; Experience with a customer database (Salesforce preferred)
Knowledge
Required: Communication (oral and written), ability to interact with multiple levels within commercial projects; capacity to develop workshops or industry events; computer skills (Office Suite, CRM such as Salesforce)
Academic Background
Required: High School / GED Desirable: Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field

Wage Range:
The starting annual salary for this position is between $75,000 – $85,000 plus a 25% quarterly bonus. Starting pay may vary by geography, skills, education, and experience. The role is eligible for additional annual awards based on performance and company results.
