This full-time position involves managing athlete healthcare, including injury prevention, evaluation, treatment, and rehabilitation, in accordance with current contracts and standards.
Key Responsibilities
Manage healthcare for athletes, including first aid, injury evaluation, and rehabilitation.
Cover practices, games, and related events, including travel and possible overnight stays.
Develop and implement treatment programs and modalities.
Maintain accurate medical records and injury logs.
Communicate effectively with athletes, families, coaches, and medical staff.
Participate in community programs and contribute to program development.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in a health-related field.
Current BOC certification for Athletic Trainers.
Preferred 1-2 years of experience in a sports environment.
CPR certification within 90 days of hire.
