As an Audit Manager, you will be a key leader responsible for overseeing the planning, execution, and successful completion of audit engagements. Your extensive experience in audit and assurance, combined with your leadership skills, will drive the firm\'s commitment to delivering exceptional client service, maintaining high-quality standards, and fostering team growth. Responsibilities
Lead and manage a team of audit professionals, including senior and staff members, in planning, executing, and concluding audit engagements Ensure adherence to engagement timelines, budgets, and firm standards Build and maintain strong client relationships, serving as the primary point of contact for audit engagements Provide strategic insights and recommendations to clients for improving financial processes, controls, and reporting Collaborate with partners and directors to develop comprehensive audit strategies and plans that address client-specific risks and objectives Oversee the allocation of resources, assignment of roles, and development of audit programs Conduct complex audit procedures, review workpapers, and assess audit findings to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial statements and disclosures Monitor the progress of audit engagements, providing guidance to resolve challenges and meet milestones Stay abreast of evolving accounting standards, regulatory changes, and industry trends, and apply this knowledge to engagement Provide expert guidance to the team on complex accounting and auditing issues Coach, mentor, and develop audit staff and senior team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and professional growth Conduct performance evaluations, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for skill development Ensure the accuracy, completeness, and compliance of audit documentation, reports, and conclusions with firm standards and regulations Implement best practices and methodologies to enhance the quality of audit engagements Identify opportunities to expand the firm\'s client base and service offerings Contribute to business development activities, including client proposals, presentations, and networking Will supervise subordinate team members Work is conducted in a professional office environment with minimal distractions Travel may be frequent and unpredictable, depending on client\'s needs Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field 5 – 8 years of relevant experience 5+ years of relevant audit experience within a CPA firm, with progressive leadership responsibilities CPA license is required; equivalent certifications are required for IT audit Responsible for completing the minimum CPE credit requirement Specific positions may require additional industry or specialization certifications Preferred Qualifications
Experience in professional service environment, such as a CPA firm, financial consulting firm, or similar setting Additional Information
