Position Overview

If you're a seasoned Electronics Exploitation (EE) Deployer stationed at Aberdeen Proving Ground, this opportunity aligns with your expertise. You will be at the forefront of technical intelligence, analyzing and exploiting electronic devices to uncover critical data for national defense. The role involves overseas deployments, hands-on work in forward exploitation labs, and collaboration with engineers and military units. Responsibilities Embark on overseas deployments, addressing challenges in critical intelligence communities. Analyze target devices to understand signaling and electronic modifications. Create reports and briefings on characterization, vulnerabilities, and exploitation recommendations. Collaborate with engineers and subject matter experts to solve problems and respond to RFIs. Research emerging techniques and perform laboratory-based analyses to stay at the forefront of technology. Capture, characterize, and identify RF receiver/transmitter modules, operating frequencies, and power. Identify electronic components, research, and develop accurate schematics using available tools. Analyze, demodulate, and decode signals to extract intelligence data and develop standard tools for commonly encountered signals. Perform electronic data recovery on various devices using forensic tools. Produce engaging technical reports on captured data and maintain strict chain of custody and evidentiary integrity. Required Qualifications Active TS/SCI clearance. #qinetiqclearedjob BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with 3 years of experience OR associate degree with 5 years of experience OR high school diploma with 6 years of experience. Physical ability and willingness to deploy globally for 6-month rotations. Expertise in electronic schematic design and interpretation. Proficiency in identifying electronic components and characterizing circuits. Experience with laboratory bench-top equipment (signal generators, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, etc.). Solid understanding of RF communications and standard RF measurements.
