Position Overview If you\'re a seasoned Electronics Exploitation (EE) Deployer stationed at Aberdeen Proving Ground, this opportunity aligns with your expertise. You\'ll be at the forefront of technical intelligence, analyzing and exploiting electronic devices to uncover critical data for national defense. The role involves overseas deployments, hands-on work in forward exploitation labs, and collaboration with elite engineers and military units.
Responsibilities
Embark on overseas deployments, tackling challenges in critical intelligence communities.
Dive deep into electronic analysis of target devices, including basic signaling to advanced modifications.
Craft reports and briefings, detailing characterization, vulnerabilities, and exploitation recommendations.
Collaborate with engineers and subject matter experts to solve problems and respond to RFIs.
Research emerging techniques and conduct laboratory-based analyses to stay at the forefront of technology.
Capture, characterize and identify electrical/electronic RF receiver and transmitter modules, operating frequencies and power.
Identify electronic components visually, conduct research, provide information, and develop accurate schematics of electronics systems using provided tools and techniques.
Analyze, demodulate and decode signals to extract intelligence data and develop standardized demodulation and decoding tools and techniques for common signals.
Perform electronic data recovery on devices using forensic tools (e.g., XRY, Cellbrite, GrayKey).
Create engaging technical reports on captured data.
Maintain meticulous chain of custody and handle evidence to ensure forensic integrity.
Required Qualifications
Active TS/SCI clearance. #qinetiqclearedjob
BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field with 3 years of experience OR associate degree with 5 years of experience OR high school diploma with 6 years of experience.
Physical ability and commitment to global deployment for 6-month rotations.
Expertise in electronic schematic design and interpretation.
Proficiency in identifying electronic components and characterizing circuits.
Mastery of laboratory bench equipment (Signal Generators, Spectrum Analyzers, Oscilloscopes, etc.).
Solid understanding of RF communications and standard RF measurements.
Preferred Qualifications
BSE in Electrical Engineering
Familiarity with IED and/or UXS techniques, tactics, and procedures (TTP)
Experience collaborating with military organizations, such as EOD units
Background in CELLEX, DOMEX, and MEDEX forensics; Hands-on experience with IED/UAS electronics
Understanding of programming languages
