Role Description This is a full-time on-site role for a Ford Tech, located in Gaffney SC. The Ford Tech will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining Ford vehicles to ensure they run efficiently. Daily tasks include performing routine maintenance, inspecting vehicle systems, and utilizing diagnostic tools to identify complex issues. The role also involves keeping up-to-date with automotive technology, adhering to safety protocols, and ensuring excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
Diagnose, repair, and maintain Ford vehicles to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
Perform routine maintenance such as oil changes, tire rotations, and brake inspections.
Inspect vehicle systems and use diagnostic tools to identify complex issues.
Stay up-to-date with automotive technology and best practices.
Adhere to safety protocols and deliver excellent customer service.
Qualifications
Experience with diagnosing and repairing Ford vehicles
Proficiency in using automotive diagnostic tools and equipment
Skills in vehicle maintenance, including oil changes, brake repairs, and tire rotations
Strong understanding of automotive systems, including electrical, engine, and transmission systems
Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Strong communication and customer service skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
ASE certification or equivalent is a plus
High school diploma or equivalent; technical or vocational training is preferred
