Overview
We are seeking a Postdoc with strong bioinformatics/computational biology skills to join our team, the Harari Lab. Our mission is to further the understanding of Alzheimer’s Disease and Related Dementias to improve diagnostics, quality of life and treatment options for those with neurodegenerative diseases. Responsibilities
Work with large-scale genomic and genetics data, including Next Generation Sequencing (NGS), GWAS chip data, Single Cell Transcriptomics (scRNA-seq, single cell ATAC-seq and spatial transcriptomics) and other high-throughput omics data in the study of neurodegeneration. Develop and implement new methods for research, take the lead on research projects, write manuscripts and grant proposals, and present results of that research at internationally recognized conferences. Location: Institute for Behavioral Medicine Research (0878) Position Type: Term (Fixed Term) Scheduled Hours: 40 Shift: First Shift Final candidates are subject to successful completion of a background check.
