Job Summary
Seeking a
Personal Lines Inside Sales Representative
that will be responsible for generating revenue for an existing book of business by upselling, cross-selling, and acquiring new personal lines business. This role combines sales and service functions, ensuring timely policy adjustments and delivering exceptional client support.
Responsibilities
Contact assigned book of business to identify opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, or acquiring new personal lines business Conduct outbound and inbound sales calls to meet or exceed individual sales targets Process policy changes, endorsements, and renewals in a timely manner Obtain and compare quotes (re-shop) to ensure competitive coverage and pricing for clients Assist clients with claims inquiries, liaise with carriers, and track claim status until resolution Issue and distribute insurance ID cards, certificates, and other policy documents Maintain accurate client records and update agency management systems with policy and contact information Collaborate with producers and underwriters to resolve complex client issues and facilitate smooth transactions
Qualifications/Requirements
Active Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance license required 2+ years of experience in personal lines insurance sales or account servicing Proven ability to meet or exceed sales goals for a book of business Strong phone-based selling and negotiation skills Solid understanding of personal lines products and endorsements Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to handle claims inquiries and policy servicing tasks efficiently Proficiency with agency management systems, quoting platforms, and Microsoft Office Suite Detail-oriented approach with strong organizational and time-management abilities Ability to multitask and prioritize competing demands in a fast-paced environment
