IN Role Purpose Statement: To manage the Dalda Consumer Pack Business in Delhi. This is a new market and will be key growth areas for the regional business. The role requires close monitoring, distribution expansion, and infrastructure building. The key responsibility is to drive business growth in Delhi. Main Accountabilities : Manage the current distribution network of distributors in Varanasi. Expand the distribution network, primarily in Varanasi. Drive sales volume in Varanasi. Build oils and vanaspati sales and market equity through trade activation and consumer contacts in Varanasi, a key market for Dalda. Develop the market for achieving year-on-year growth over the next 3-5 years. Impact/Dimensions : This role will handle a volume business of approximately 2215 MT sales per month in 2023. Major sales of high-profit categories such as VP, Oils like SFO will originate from this area, necessitating high-quality consumer focus, market service, and activation. Key Performance Indicators (KPIs): Achieve annual volume and MAV targets monthly/quarterly. 100% geo-tagging of outlets. DMS installation at all distributors with more than 5 MT average monthly sales. Timely payment collection with aged AR less than 10% of total AR. No expiry of forecasted stocks in depots. Major Opportunities and Decisions : Automation at the field force level. Training of DSMs and implementation of SFA. Automation of business partners, DMS installation, and fulfillment. Increasing buying outlets and analyzing buying patterns to develop strategies for low-selling products/SKUs/Beats/Towns. Building relationships with self-service stores contributing significantly to Varanasi business. Driving secondary sales. Achieving 90-95% accuracy in sales forecasting. Management/Leadership: Support and empower the sales team through experience sharing and knowledge transfer. Be a team player with good product and territory knowledge, and strong communication skills. Possess strong analytical skills to interpret data and guide the team towards business goals. Key Relationships, Stakeholders & Interfaces: Maintain good relations with support functions, top management, and marketing team. Build and maintain healthy relations with distributors, wholesalers, SSS, and keep them informed of market trends for long-term growth. Knowledge and Technical Competencies : Understanding of FMCG business and GTM strategy execution. Knowledge of the oil industry and distribution systems. Ability to operate in a dynamic market and demonstrate conviction. Problem-solving attitude as a key leadership skill. Education/Experience: Graduate, preferably in Science or Commerce. Business management degree preferred. Extensive sales experience in FMCG or edible oil industry with top companies. Proficiency in local language and Hindi; good in English (writing and speaking).
