This position puts you at the forefront of delivering exceptional service, ensuring guests have a seamless experience from check-in to check-out. You will interact with a diverse range of travelers, building strong communication and problem-solving skills. What’s In It for You? Reservations Management: Handle room reservations, cancellations, and modifications accurately while maintaining up-to-date records. Customer Service: Respond to guest inquiries, complaints, and special requests, aiming to exceed guest expectations. Payment Processing: Handle payment transactions, including room charges, deposits, and refunds, and ensure accuracy and policy compliance. Communication Hub: Coordinate with housekeeping and maintenance to address guest needs and resolve issues promptly. Providing Information: Offer information about hotel services, amenities, local attractions, and transportation options. Problem-Solving: Resolve guest concerns effectively, escalating issues when necessary to maintain satisfaction. Maintaining Records: Keep accurate records of guest stays, payments, and interactions in the PMS. Promoting Hotel Services: Upsell rooms and promote hotel amenities to enhance the guest experience. Ensuring Security: Follow safety and security protocols, verify guest identification, and monitor for suspicious activity. What We Are Looking For Previous experience in customer-facing roles (hospitality, retail, or food service) preferred; strong interpersonal skills and service focus are essential. Familiarity with computers and reservation or property management systems (PMS); training may be provided. Strong verbal and written communication skills for professional interactions. Experience handling guest complaints or conflicts calmly and effectively is an asset. Ability to manage multiple tasks (answering phones, handling reservations, assisting guests) simultaneously. Hospitality or Front Desk experience (preferred) High school diploma or equivalent Flexibility to work weekends and holidays Why Commonwealth Hotels?
