Be among the first 25 applicants for a Litigation Paralegal role with a national firm in Portland. This is a collaborative position supporting trial attorneys in a heavy trial practice, with a focus on plaintiffs’ litigation. Your New Role
You’ll have plenty of variety in this role, and your responsibilities will encompass the full scope of trial support. This will include drafting pleadings, correspondence, and legal documents, scheduling depositions, and maintaining client files. Additionally, you’ll conduct legal research, prepare discovery, and assist with trial prep. You’ll even attend trials and help with voir dire. The cases will involve voluminous discovery and high-stakes litigation, so in-depth experience with discovery, motions, and trial support is essential. You’ll work in-office, collaborating with a team of excellent attorneys, paralegals, and support staff. Your New Organization
This national firm handles plaintiffs’ work exclusively and is driven to not only help clients, but support each other in the process. There’s no hierarchy, and the team helps to lift each other up, especially when dealing with sometimes very intense and emotional litigation. 5+ years of complex litigation paralegal experience, preferably in a heavy trial practice Experience in personal injury or plaintiffs’ litigation highly preferred Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Acrobat Bachelor’s degree or paralegal certificate Benefits
