Senior Litigation Paralegal

Vaco has partnered with our client to hire an experienced Senior Paralegal - Litigation to provide high-level support.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys in all stages of litigation, including investigation, pleadings, discovery, pre-trial, trial, and appeals. Draft, review, and file legal documents such as pleadings, motions, subpoenas, discovery requests/responses, and correspondence. Manage case calendars, deadlines, and ensure compliance with court rules and procedures. Organize and maintain physical and electronic case files, including document management and evidence tracking. Coordinate and assist with deposition preparation, witness interviews, and trial preparation. Summarize depositions, medical records, discovery responses, and other key documents. Conduct legal and factual research using tools such as Westlaw, LexisNexis, or PACER. Liaise with clients, court personnel, opposing counsel, and experts in a professional and timely manner. Support attorneys during hearings and trials, including preparing exhibits, organizing trial binders, and attending court when necessary. Mentor and assist junior paralegals or administrative staff as needed. Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree and/or Paralegal Certificate from an ABA-approved program. Experience: Minimum of 6 years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm or corporate legal department. Strong understanding of litigation procedures, court rules, and e-filing systems (e.g., federal and state). Proficiency in legal research platforms and litigation support software (e.g., Relativity, Concordance, CaseMap). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines. High level of professionalism, discretion, and attention to detail. Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco/Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to the individual’s skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, office location and other geographic considerations, as well as other business and organizational needs. With that said, as required by local law in geographies that require salary range disclosure, Vaco/Highspring notes the salary range for the role is noted in this job posting. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses, and can participate in medical, dental, and vision benefits as well as the company’s 401(k) retirement plan.
