Varsity Boys Lacrosse, Assistant Coach

Phillips Academy . Phillips Academy seeks an Assistant Coach for the boys’ varsity lacrosse program for Spring 2025. Working alongside the varsity lacrosse head coach, responsibilities include developing individual skills, teamwork, and sportsmanship among student-athletes. Experience playing and/or coaching lacrosse is required, and experience working with high school students is preferred. A full background check is required. Commitment is approximately 20-25 hours per week (Monday-Saturday) from mid-March through the third weekend of May. Responsibilities include late afternoon practices (3:15 p.m. – 6 p.m.), home and away games on Wednesday afternoons, and most Saturdays. The coaching role also involves participating in an out-of-state spring break training trip in mid-March with the varsity coaching staff. No benefits are provided. Preferred Qualifications: The ability to positively motivate, inspire, and serve as a role model to students. Adaptability and enjoyment in collaborating with the current coaching staff.
