The University of Miami Health System, "UHealth", IT Department has an exciting opportunity for a full time Epic Trainer 3 to work on-site. The Epic Trainer 3 trains and supports the institution’s clinical systems required for patient care and maintains a solid understanding of the overall integration of business applications to provide training and support to staff members. The Epic Trainer 3 - Central (H) leads in the communication of new policies and procedures and serves as the primary support contact in all matters related to training.The Epic Trainer 3 - Central assists junior team members’ work efforts in the communication of training policies, coordination of required training, and management of all aspects of classroom and virtual training. The incumbent maintains the scope, schedule, and quality of training as well as maintains current knowledge of UHealth’s policies, procedures, and business operations.Core Responsibilities:* Administers training activities to reinforce appropriate system usage in the delivery of robust patient-centered care.Reviews project plan, monitors tasks and milestones, and reports changes/status to senior leadership.Department Specific Functions:Trainer will be part of the Clinical Informatics Optimization Team where we focus on all user who interact with the system to deliver care for the patient. The team work in an agile workflow delivery enhancements within 1-2 week of the request. It involves shadowing various end users, retraining, supporting new enhancements, creating communications for enhancement including emails, tip sheets, and/or videos. Also entails creating team shadowing schedule. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written form. Ability to maintain effective interpersonal relationships.Ability to recognize, analyze, and solve a variety of problems.
