Concierge/Front Desk Host
to join our guest services team. This position requires weekend availability and a flexible schedule. This role serves as the first and last impression for our guests, welcoming them with genuine hospitality, ensuring a smooth check-in and check-out process, and providing thoughtful, personalized service throughout their stay. As a key point of contact, you\'ll assist with reservations, guest inquiries, and special requests both in person and over the phone. You\'ll also act as a concierge, sharing your knowledge of local wineries, restaurants, and attractions to create meaningful Sonoma County experiences. The ideal candidate takes pride in anticipating guest needs, resolving issues with grace, and delivering service that reflects the refined and welcoming spirit of The Madrona.
Responsibilities
Greet guests with warmth and professionalism, ensuring a seamless arrival and departure experience Handle reservations, confirmations, and guest communications via phone, email, and in person Provide tailored recommendations for dining, wine tasting, and local attractions Process payments accurately, maintain guest records, and follow all cashiering procedures Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and food & beverage to fulfill guest requests promptly Maintain an organized, polished front desk and lobby environment Handle guest concerns with empathy and discretion, ensuring timely resolution
Qualifications
Previous front desk, concierge, or hospitality experience preferred Strong communication and multitasking abilities A calm, professional demeanor and genuine passion for guest service Familiarity with Healdsburg and Sonoma County restaurants, wineries, and cultural offerings is a plus Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
