This role is for a Safety Manager position in Sunnyvale, TX (DFW area). Essential Job Functions

Will oversee one or more site-specific projects that will be assigned by the Safety Manager. Shall advise Project Management and employees in safe work practices, while supplying the information necessary to comply with Morley Moss Safety Procedures, the project safety requirements and Local, State or Federal regulations. Shall ensure that all Morley Moss sub-contractors are in compliance with Morley Moss Safety Procedures, their own safety programs, the project safety requirements, and Local, State or Federal regulations. Shall make employees and subcontractors aware of any special conditions or hazards in existence. Shall routinely inspect the project for the purpose of discovering at-risk work practices and unsafe conditions that could lead to an Incident, Near-miss or violation of the Company or Project Health and Safety Procedures and requirements. Has the authority to “stop the work” of Morley-Moss crews or their subcontractors when he/she observes at-risk work practices or unsafe conditions. Shall immediately report all Incidents and Near-misses to the Project Management, Safety Department and Contractor. Shall ensure that all Incident Reports are submitted to the Safety Department and the Contractor within 24 hours of the occurrence, or sooner if required by the Project. Shall coordinate with the Project Management to ensure that injured/ill employees are escorted by a Manager to the pre-determined medical clinic with the proper paperwork and forms completed. Able to work up to 50+ per week as needed. May include various shift hours and/or weekends, based on project needs. Preferred Education And/or Experience

OSHA 30 Certificate High school diploma or GED required. Preferred bachelor’s degree in safety engineering, safety management, occupational environment health, industrial health or related field. Preferred 5-10 years of prior safety experience, electrical background, participation in root cause analysis, NFPA 70e Working knowledge of the construction industry, operations management, and safety practices a plus. Working knowledge of federal, state, and city regulations and guidelines Required Attributes
