Housekeeping Director
to lead our environmental services team. This leadership role is essential to maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, staff, and visitors. Oversee daily housekeeping operations throughout the facility Supervise and schedule housekeeping staff to ensure coverage and efficiency Conduct regular inspections to maintain cleanliness and compliance with infection control standards Train staff on proper cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and equipment use Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and coordinate with vendors as needed Collaborate with nursing and administrative teams to support resident care and facility needs Respond to special cleaning requests and resolve issues promptly Ensure compliance with state, federal, and facility regulations Participate in quality improvement initiatives and prepare for audits or inspections What we’re looking for
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate degree preferred Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in housekeeping, preferably in healthcare or long-term care Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Knowledge of infection control practices and regulatory standards Ability to manage staff schedules, training, and performance evaluations Proficiency in Microsoft Office and facility management systems Reliable and professional work habits Benefits
