Regal . Team members are classified based on individual theatre needs and/or employee availability as variable hour, part-time fixed, part-time regular, or full-time hourly employees whose primary responsibility is ensuring guests receive exceptional service. Team members may be scheduled to work in the Box Office, Concession Stand, or as an Usher. Team members must act as a representative of Regal in a way that is consistent with our mission statement and policies.

Responsibilities Box Office
Operating POS system, including handling and accuracy of cash drawer, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards, and redeemed tickets, passes and coupons
Upselling/suggestive selling of Premium Viewing Experience (3D, RPX, IMAX)
Promoting the Regal Crown Club program
Ensuring tickets are sold in accordance with MPAA rating system and company policy
Responding to guest questions by phone or in person in a manner consistent with our guest service philosophy
Concession
Operating POS system and handling cash drawer, credit cards, travelers’ checks, gift cards, redeemed coupons, and concession stock inventory
Promoting the Regal Crown Club program
Operating, preparing, and cleaning concession equipment
Upselling/suggestive selling
Complying with local, state and federal food safety laws
Abiding by break and/or meal period laws
Ensuring alcohol certification and training are current where applicable
If selling alcohol, being of legal age to sell or serve according to state/local laws
Completing training materials on topics such as harassment and discrimination
Usher
Tearing tickets, collecting and depositing stubs, and directing patrons to auditoriums
Inspecting backpacks and packages when applicable
Managing crowd control and assisting guests with seating
Enforcement of MPAA rating system
In-theatre inspections to monitor picture and sound quality and maintain a safe environment
Reporting problems or unusual situations to management
In-theatre auxiliary sales as directed by management
Cleaning auditoriums, restrooms, lobby, and other areas
Monitoring the operation of theatre vending equipment
Assisting with opening and closing duties as assigned
Pay Scale Information Pay:
$18.04 per hour
Benefits Free movie passes and discounted concessions at any Regal location. Eligible to participate in Regal 401(k) retirement plan with company match after age 21 and six months of service.
Qualifications Education/Experience Completion of cast certification program as a cast member and as box office cashier or progress toward completion is required.
Alcohol Requirements If the theatre sells alcohol and duties include selling/serving, complete any legally required state/local training and Regal Responsible Beverage Server training on Regal Online University.
Language Ability Good public speaking, listening, and clear communication.
Math Ability Perform calculations with speed and accuracy; identify and correct errors.
Reasoning Ability Identify problems, gather data, evaluate information, and take action under pressure.
Personal Skills Excellent communication with customers, co-workers and management; ability to plan, prioritize, and manage time.
Physical Demands Standing, walking, or sitting; handling, reaching; occasional lifting up to 60 pounds; vision requirements.
