Overview

Responsible for the selling, promoting and specifying of Florida Tile / Panaria Group products to Architects, Interior Designers, Contractors, Builders, and Dealers. We are looking for an innovative and strategic thinker who has a passion for design, is self-driven, motivated for success. Responsibilities include assisting architects, contractors, designers, and homeowners with tile selection, generating sales, and serving as the continued go-to resource for customer needs. The position is responsible for sales merchandising, technical information, customer product knowledge, and evaluating the area’s market needs and business conditions in the territory. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Target, call on, and develop relationships with architects, designers, builders, contractors, dealers, and other channels Develop and maintain a trade client base via in-house meetings as well as telephone and internet communications Proactively identify new opportunities and sales channels Identify and establish relationships with top architectural and design firms Maintain architectural libraries clean and well-organized, replacing outdated sample tools and placing new products as they are available Develop and execute presentations/CEUs Meet and exceed an established sales budget on a monthly basis to meet annual goals Set up product displays and modify as appropriate Introduce and successfully initiate company programs and new product introductions Assess competitors, their product lines and strategies; compile catalogs and spec sheets, and keep Branch Manager informed of activity Prospecting, qualifying and establishing new customers Evaluate product field complaints and resolve them in accordance with company guidelines Participate in industry associations and activities, i.e. ASID, IIDA, and NEWH Other duties as assigned Qualifications

Exceptional verbal and written communication skills At least three years of direct sales experience Bachelor’s degree in business or related discipline preferred Computer literacy Ability to achieve company goals with little supervision Analytical ability to assess total and individual markets to set goals, plan and execute market research, forecast sales and establish new markets Development, planning and execution of yearly business plan Frequent travel within territory and valid driver’s license required Benefits
