WORK SCHEDULE Monday through Friday 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm plus all golf trips JOB SUMMARY Southern Nazarene University is seeking a highly motivated individual to serve as a graduate assistant coach for the SNU Golf Program. The University is a member of the NCAA DII Great American Conference. The successful candidate will have a mature, growing relationship with Christ and collegiate coaching/playing experience. They will assist with the day-to-day operations of the Men’s and Women’s Golf Program, which include daily practice and qualifying. They will travel to tournaments to help coach teams. They will work with the Head Coach to cover all Team workouts. RESPONSIBILITIES Essential Functions: Develop plans for practice to help improve each player’s game. Travel to all away Men’s and Women’s Tournaments. Daily communication with Head Coach to help grow the teams. Assist with any NCAA CARA Logs for each team. Perform other duties as assigned. Required Qualifications: Southern Nazarene University is an expression of the Church of the Nazarene. Acceptance into a master’s degree program at SNU. Ability to solve problems and work under pressure. Ability to work within a team environment. Preferred Qualifications: Some college coursework. Experience in higher education. Supervision Received: Receives supervision and work assignments from the Head Men’s & Women’s Golf Coach, although other staff members in the unit may provide work directions.
