The Sales Specialist is responsible for developing and executing successful sales strategies for rapid revenue growth and market share expansion in territory. They will work collaboratively with Sales, Service and Applications counterparts to achieve Leica Biosystems performance targets while exceeding customer expectations. In This Role, You Will Have The Opportunity To
Achieve annual product sales goals set for the territory while working in coordination with the local assigned team within their territory. Maintain accurate and timely opportunity funnel and customer data in SFDC with coaching as needed. Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through delivery of sales and support assistance and coordinate product demo, installs, and customer training with support from manager and/or mentor. Work with prospective and current customers to increase Leica Biosystems' influence and presence across territories. Monitor and develop awareness of competitive activities and strategies. The Essential Requirements Of The Job Include
Education: Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science OR equivalent work experience Minimum 3+ years relevant sales (or equivalent experience) Prior capital sales experience Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements
Ability to travel – 50-75% overnight Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record and the ability to travel overnight for territory coverage (if applicable) and/or for company meetings Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lb Ability to walk, sit, stand, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance, stoop, bend, talk and hear. Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus. This position will require heavy travel by car and flying in and out of airports with possible long wait times. It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in
Proven time management skills Proven contract negotiation and high-level selling experience, or selling in a matrixed environment Compensation & Benefits
The annual salary range $119,000 – $138,000. This is the range that we in good faith believe is the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. This range may be modified in the future. This job is also eligible for bonus/incentive pay.
