The Accounting Advisory Services (AAS) team provides outsourced accounting and CFO-level services, empowering decision-making through rigorous analysis of financial and operational data. The Manager serves as a high-level accounting and finance advisor for AAS customers in the healthcare industry across geographies and business life cycle stages, overseeing technical projects such as US GAAP conversions and financial statement preparation, and mentoring team members. As part of the Elliott Davis Advisory team, you will work with partners in Tax, Consulting, and Audit to facilitate decision-making, risk management, profitability improvement, and achievement of strategic objectives. Responsibilities

Actively lead monthly accounting needs for customers by overseeing engagement teams Serve as a key point of contact on day-to-day accounting and advisory matters and/or technical/special projects for customers Conduct and review in-depth financial analysis, provide expert financial perspective, assess risk, analyze efficiency, and inform business decisions Provide tactical accounting and advisory guidance to customers and engagement team members Perform technical accounting reviews of highly complex advisory deliverables Prepare ad hoc and monthly recurring reports and analyses for customers Perform US GAAP conversions, document technical memos (e.g., ASC 606 analysis), and prepare US GAAP financial statements Utilize technology to communicate and record accounting and advisory matters Understand customers’ business to ensure engagement economics are clear and provide regular updates Ensure overall quality and accuracy of the scope of services for customer portfolios Develop and manage relationships with customers, internal firm contacts, and AAS Engagement Team leaders Collaborate with customers to provide advisory services and identify additional service line opportunities Provide developmental feedback to AAS and other internal team members; coach and train staff Demonstrate commitment to continuous improvement through process enhancements Oversee customer invoicing and communications with shareholders, principals, and managing directors Participate in growth opportunities through collaboration with other service lines and referral sources Attend customer, recruiting, and networking functions as appropriate Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance CPA certification 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in a fast-paced, high-volume environment Healthcare industry experience and knowledge Ability to produce timely deliverables and manage multiple priorities Strong attention to detail and accuracy Understanding of US GAAP; knowledge of financial statements and general ledger accounting Proven track record of handling high volume deadlines and delivering technical memos Business development inclination Strong problem solving, written and oral communication skills Experience supervising and training team members Ability to work quickly and accurately with attention to detail; able to work independently and collaboratively Willingness to take ownership of customer deadlines and needs Strong time-management skills; proficient in Excel and complex analyses Preferred Qualifications
